The People’s
Bank of China will issue a 2005 Beijing International Coin
Exposition Commemorative Silver Panda Coin on Oct. 21, 2005.
This coin is the legal tender of the People’s Republic of
China.
I. Obverse design on the coin
The obverse design on the coin features the Hall of Praying
for Good Harvest of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing (partially
gilded), and Chinese characters ‘2005北京国际邮票钱币博览会纪念’, the title
of the PRC, and the year of issuance;
II. Reverse design on the coin
The reverse design features a mother panda and her son,
character ‘loz Ag.999’ and the face value.
III. The specification and mintage
of the coin
This bullion silver coin contains 1oz. of pure silver, 99.9%
in purity, round in shape, 40mm in diameter, 10 Yuan in face
value, the mintage is 30,000pc.
IV. This silver coin was minted
by Shanghai Mint, and generally distributed by China Gold
Coin Incorporation.
