The People’s Bank of China
will issue a set of ‘The Centennial of the Birth
of Chenyun Commemorative Gold and Silver Coins’
on June 13.
I. Designs on the coins
i. The obverse designs
The common obverse design features Chenyun’s
former residence in Shanghai & the Memorial
Hall of Qingpu Revolutionary History, with the
title of the PRC, year of issuance, and Chinese
characters ‘上海陈云故居暨青浦革命历史纪念馆’, ‘陈云诞辰一百周年’.
ii. The reverse designs
i>. The reverse design on the 1/2oz. gold
coin features the effigy of Chenyun in the period
of reform and opening-up, script of the characters
‘陈云’, ‘1905-2005’, and the face value.
ii>. The reverse designs on the 1oz. silver
coins respectively features: the effigy of Chenyun
in the period of the resistance war against Japan,
the Baota Hill in Yanan, script of the name ‘陈云’,
‘1905-2005’, and the face value; the effigy of
Chenyun in the period of socialistic construction,
patterns of industrial architectures, script of
the name ‘陈云’, ‘1905-2005’, and the face value. |
