The People’s
Bank of China will issue a lettered silver panda coin celebrating
the 2004 Beijing
International Coin Exposition on Oct. 20, 2004. This coin
is the legal tender of the People’s Republic of China.
I. Designs on the commemorative coin
The obverse design on the coin features the Hall of Praying
for Good Harvest of the Temple of Heaven in
Beijing (partially gilded), and the title of the PRC, year
of issuance and “2004北京国际邮票钱币博览会纪念”;
The reverse design features a mother panda and her son, and
the face value.
II. The specification and mintage of the coin
This bullion silver coin contains 1oz. of pure silver, round
in shape, 40mm in diameter, 10 Yuan in face
value, 99.9% in purity, the mintage is 30,000pc.
III. This silver coin was minted by Shanghai Mint, and exclusively
distributed by China Gold Coin
