Olympic
Congress

1. The IOC shall organize
an Olympic Congress, in principle every eight years, convened upon
decision of
the IOC, by its President, at a place and on a date determined by
the IOC, The President of the IOC shall
preside and determine the procedure. The Olympic Congress has a consultative
character.
2. The Olympic Congress is composed of the members and honorary members
of the IOC, of the
delegates representing the IFs, the NOCs, and the organizations recognized
by the IOC. In addition, the
Olympic Congress comprises athletes and personalities invited in their
individual capacity or on behalf of
the organization which they represent.
3. The IOC Executive Board determines the agenda of the Olympic Congress
after consultation with the
IFs and the NOCs. |
