In commemoration of the 1994 US FIFA World Cup
, the Bank of China issued the set of the 1994 US FIFA World Cup
commemorative coins, minted by Shanghai Mint. There are altogether
four in this set, one is gold, the other three are
silver.
The common obverse depicts the title
of PRC, the issuing year and the national emblem. The reverse
of gold coin depict the
picture of a football athlete and the face value. The reverses
of the three silver coins depict respectively the pictures
of
corner kick, two persons and three persons battling for the ball and
the face value. |
