In commemoration of The 43rd world table-tennis championships held in Tianjin in 1995, the People's Bank of China

issued the 43rd world table-tennis championships commemorative gold and silver coins in 1995 and distributed

exclusively by the China Gold Coin Inc. There are altogether three, one is gold and the other two are silver. The common

obverses of the commemorative coins depict the title of the PRC, the issuing year, the championship emblem and the

picture of Tianjin Stadium. The
reverse of the gold coin depicts a Men's Doubles player and the face value. The reverses

of the two silver coins
depict the picture of the Women's Single player and two doubles players respectively and the face

value.
