The 2001 Issue of Chinese Panda Gold and Silver Commemorative Coins
The People's Bank of China issued the 2001 Chinese panda gold and silver commemorative coins at Jan

20th, 2001.There are altogether eight coins in this set, six are gold, two are silver.

I. Design of the coins:

(1) The obverse:

The common obverses depict the picture of the title of the PRC, issuing year and the Hall of Prayer for Good

Harvests of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing.

(2) The reverse:กก

The common reverses depict the picture of the Bamboo and Panda and the face value, but the domestic

version bu. gold and silver coins were added an English character 'D'.

III. This set of commemorative coins were minted separately. The domestic version were minted by Shenzhen Guobao Mint; the overseas version were minted by Shanghai Mint. 2001 Chinese Panda Gold and Silver Commemorative coins are distributed exclusively by China Gold Coin Inc.
