The People's Bank of China determines to issue 2002 Chinese Panda precious metals commemorative coins

on Dec. 20th 2001. There are altogether ten coins in this set, include six gold coins ,two silver coins, one gold-

inlayed silver coin, and one Platinum coin, all these coins are legal tender of the PRC.

I. Designs of the Coins:

(1)
The Obverse:

1. The common obverse of all the coins feature The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests of the Temple of Heaven in

Beijing, the title of the PRC and the issuing year. The gold-inlayed silver coins are especially minted with words

" 熊猫币发行二十周年 ( the 20th anniversary of the issuance of Panda gold coins ) " in Chinese characters.

2. The obverse of the platinum coins bear the same obverse design with the 1982 panda gold and silver coins.

As well as the title of the PRC 、 the issuing year ( 2002 ) and " 熊猫币发行二十周年 ( the 20th anniversary of the

issuance of Panda gold coins ) " in Chinese characters.

(2) The Reverse:

1. The common reverse of all the coins depict the picture of Bamboo grove Panda and the denomination.

2. The reverse of the gold-inlayed silver coins bear the same reverse design with a 1982 panda gold coin and a

2001 panda gold coin, and the face value.

III. This set of the Chinese Panda precious metals commemorative coins were minted by Shenyang Mint,

Shanghai Mint, and Shenhen Guobao Mint respectively, and exclusively distributed by China Gold Coin Inc..
