Panda is also called big panda, is
one of China's first class protection animals, and renowned
as "National Treasure". Panda enjoys the fame
as an "international friendship envoy" for its
meek character and naive postures. The PBC. has been issuing
Chinese
Panda Precious Metal Commemorative Coins since 1982. During
the past 22 years, all the panda coins share the common
obverse design of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, and
the reverse designs changes annually in order to reflect
various postures of panda. Panda gold coin is a renowned
brand in the world market for its unique theme, ingenious
designs, exquisite craftsmanship, standardized purity,
and complete specifications.
The People's Bank of China will issue 2004 Panda Commemorative
Precious Metal Coins in December 2003. The common reverse
design features a mother panda with her baby. This set
consists of 16 coins, 9 in gold, 5 in silver, 1 in platinum
and 1 palladium. |
