The issuance of 2005 Chinese
precious metal commemorative coins will still adhere
to the issuing policies of “controlling the total
mintage and ensuring the quality of coins”, and
give priority to reflecting the grand memorial events.
The items of 2005 CPMCC Program are 2005 Panda
Precious Metal Commemorative Coins (issued in December
of 2004), 2006 Germany FIFA World Cup TM Commemorative
Gold and Silver Coins, The 600th Anniversary of
Zheng He’s Voyage to the West Commemorative Gold
and Silver Coins, The Centenary of the Birth of
Chen Yun Commemorative Gold and Silver Coins, the
first set of The Games of the XXIX Olympiad Precious
Metal Commemorative Coins (be pending), The 60th
Anniversary of the War of Resistance Against Japan
and the World War of Resistance Against the Fascist
Commemorative Gold and Silver Coins, and 2006 Chinese
Bingwu Year (Year of the Dog) Commemorative Gold
and Silver Coins. There are total 7 items, which
are 2 less than the last year, and 4 less than the
year before last. |
